Turkey Meatballs11sm

I consider myself a pretty healthy eater, but I must admit sometimes it can get kind of boring. I feel like I eat the same things over and over and over again. So lately, I’ve been on a quest to expand my family’s healthy eating options. Last night I made these absolutely delicious turkey meatballs and everyone loved them! This weekend I’ll try making some vegan raspberry bars to serve as a healthy snack. Until then, check out the recipe for my turkey meatballs below.

Ingredients

1 pound of ground turkey

1 tablespoon of garlic salt

1 tablespoon of cilantro

1 teaspoon of kosher salt

1/2 cup of plain bread crumbs

1/4 cup of diced onions or 2 tablespoons of dried onions

1/4 cup of olive oil

Instructions

Mix the turkey, garlic salt, cilantro, kosher salt, bread crumbs and diced onions in a bowl. Then roll the mixture into little balls. While you’re rolling the mixture, heat your olive up in a medium sized pan. Make sure it’s piping hot! Place each ball into the olive oil and make sure the meatballs are brown on all sides. Turn down the heat and cover for about 5 minutes. Once you’re done, although it’s not necessary, you can bake them at 350 degrees for an additional 8-10 minutes.
